Cap Iron Screwdriver
Years ago, I was low on funds and looking for a screwdriver that would fit into cap iron screws perfectly, without marring or slippage. This is the result.
If you have a special piece of wood you’d like me to make something out of, just let me know and I’d be happy to get something together
Some basic information about these burnishing tools:
- Fits most all cap iron screws from Stanley to Hock and everything in between .
- Handle measures roughly 5.5” long and 1.5” in diameter at the thickest point.
- Ground flat on 2 sides to prevent rolling.
- Overall length of 7.5”
- Blades are made from high carbon steel, ground to fit perfectly into new screws.
- Polished copper ferrule.
